‘It’s all about Serenity’

…and serenity has a face – the capybara! No other animal stays cool in any situation like these rodents. And no other is as famous as them to other species, the capybara actually is everybody’s best buddy! There are so many pics of them just hanging out in peace with other animals. All kinds of birds, turtles, cats, monkeys, and even predators like crocodiles!
And why? Because they are Zen, inside and out, Zen and in serenity 💚
So now you see, my favourite animal is the embodiment of my favourite word 🙏 when things make sense…
I did a fluid pouring technique in the background of this 70x70cm canvas. Capybaras love to hang out in hot springs or other water places. And they love – you already guessed it – oranges!

We so easily forget about ourselves, we so freely give away all our love, all our power, all that we have and all that we are. And all of it is good, we are here to give and love… but we also have to find that safe space, that spot that is only ours. If it is inside our soul or outside our body doesn’t matter, as long as we know it is there and it is only there for us. Because in the end, the end of it all, this spot will be us. That spot will be you. Take care of your space.

‘Sonnenanbeter’

Greek Mythology with all its beauty and all its darkness! What an absolute different side of my work with so many layers, mediums, techniques and ideas.
In the front you see the titan Atlas carrying a clay statue from Greece showing Akropolis. To the left we see nymphs creating the golden power of the sun, attracting centaurs. The sun shows the sign of the sun god Helios. Pegasus is in another light already way too close to the sun… Dädalus told his son to be careful when flying… there is more to experience in the dark. Can you find it? ☻️

Series of 7 small paintings to remind us of what is important…
Every chakra has its own color, number, element and many different animals that stand for them. I used a lot of gold leaf for this harmonic wall hanging and there are many options to put it up. In a circle, in a horizontal or vertical line or completely separated in different places/homes. Art that can connect up to 7 people with each other!
The size of 100x100cm is the format of the whole creation hung in a circle like on the photo. The diameter of the bigger middle piece is 30cm in an antique wooden frame. The 6 smaller ones diameter is 20cm in a series of same wooden frames. (inkl. 100 LED torchlight)

I chose the colors red and green that stand for success. Gold leaf for big wealth and a chunky squirrel to symbolize that it does not have to be a hard way to get what or where you want. If you believe in yourself.

Behind the scenes – the making of a fairytale Part 1

Take your time, because this is the most precious thing we have. Use it wisely, do what you love! This is my wish to all of you and dedicated to the year of the rabbit it is my gift to the white rabbit.
It was a big pleasure painting this one, the details really make the picture here. I love the mushroom lamps and the fact that the clock has the moon instead of the time. That leaves a lot of room in the time schedule 🙂 if you look closely you can spot the pocket watch of the rabbit… it will no longer make him a slave, he took care of that.

‘Where is my mind…?’

How much this movie did to me, how bad it got me with all its’ plots and twists is barely to say in words. That is why I went so much in detail for this painting. It is supposed to give a lot to find, a lot to think and a lot to feel to its viewer. The lines are written in german, because this is the language I experienced the movie at first and the original version in english never came close to that. Only the words ‘fette Beute’ are so genius and a great example for how the movie always had a humorous side next to all its seriousness. Just amazing!

What do you see? Because there is much more if you look closer… We see an astronaut versus an alien of course, in an epic chess game – about what? The world? Another world, like Plan(et) B? And how do we know if the astronaut is even human? Who is the good and who is the bad in this battle? If you look closer, what do they see in the reflection of the other one? – They see themselves. Aren’t the biggest battles that we experience the ones with ourself? At first glance you would identify the alien as the enemy, look closer. Aren’t you the alien yourself?
